Preparation has already begun for your post High School Plans.  To help keep yourself on track, please follow the Class of 2021 Senior Checklist.  This tool will serve as a calendar reminder of tasks to complete so you are prepared and ready for life outside of Sterling.



LOCAL AREA SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS

Any Senior applying for scholarship considerations MUST COMPLETE and SUBMIT the Senior Scholarship Application Form below.  Some scholarships require additional application materials (also linked below).  Please be sure to complete (use stylus or print/scan) and submit electronically.  Contact your counselor with questions or concerns.

Camden County Hero Scholarship Fund

 

Chief Gary R. Cline Memorial Scholarship – The amount of $1,500 will be offered to a graduating high school senior who will be pursuing a career in Law Enforcement.  Please complete the application and be sure to include everything on the included Requirement checklist.  Mail it directly to the Scholarship Committee to the address given on the checklist.

 Chief Gene Dannenfelser Memorial Scholarship – The amount of $1,500 will be offered to a graduating high school senior who will be pursuing a career in Fire Service.  Please complete the application and be sure to include everything on the included Requirement checklist.  Mail it directly to the Scholarship Committee to the address given on the checklist.

Cpl. Christopher Milito Memorial Scholarship – The amount of $ 1,000 will be offered to a graduating high school senior who is the son or daughter of a Law Enforcement Officer.  Please complete the application and be sure to include everything on the included Requirement checklist.  Mail it directly to the Scholarship Committee to the address given on the checklist.

Hero Scholarship Fund Program – Three Scholarships at a maximum of $2,000 each will be awarded to each of the following fields of service:  Law Enforcement, Fire and Emergency Medical Services.  To be eligible the student must have the following: a) a parent actively serving or deceased while serving in Camden County in a public safety capacity. b) a parent retired from a position of public safety capacity, alive or deceased. c) the students themselves are actively serving in a public safety capacity in one of the branches of public safety.  Please complete the application and be sure to include everything on the included Requirement checklist.  Mail it directly to the Scholarship Committee to the address given on the checklist.
